About the position

The Marketing and Development Director is a full-time role responsible for developing, managing, and implementing the Marketing and Communications Plan for New Hampshire's oldest non-profit community health center. This position focuses on branding, messaging, public engagement, and special events, ensuring effective communication with local communities and stakeholders. The director will oversee the marketing team and develop long-term strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organizational Development Plan.
  • Develop and execute the organizational Marketing and Communications Plan.
  • Supervise the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Oversee the creation of the agency's literature, promotional pieces, and annual report.
  • Write and/or edit all agency press releases.
  • Ensure regular updates of the external website and other digital and social media.
  • Direct support for operational communication and promotion needs.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a marketing, communications, and/or development role.
  • Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's in English, Communications, or Health Services or equivalent related health care experience.
  • Computer literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Adobe PageMaker Software.
  • Experience with Digital Analytics such as Google.
  • Knowledge of Web Based Content Management Systems (CMS).
