About the position

The Marketing and Digital Advertising Specialist position at Tyndall AFB, FL, is responsible for designing and developing marketing concepts and materials across various platforms. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop publicity/marketing concepts and branded materials across various forms and delivery methods.
  • Leverage understanding of design principles, production methods, and modern marketing trends.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives, promotions, and programs for the 325th Force Support Squadron under the direction of the Marketing Director.
  • Create original graphic designs for publications, printed marketing, and digital advertisements while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Execute layouts, presentation materials, and other multimedia projects.
  • Utilize advanced design and publication tools to produce effective advertisements and designs tailored for a mix of media.
  • Determine marketing techniques and strategies to enhance participation, engagement, and financial outcomes for FSS activities.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative market research to improve customer relations, satisfaction, evaluate demographics, and measure advertising effectiveness.
  • Employ knowledge of SEO/SEM practices to optimize content for digital platforms and manage campaigns and content delivery using CRM and CMS tools.
  • Write and edit copy for effective communication strategies and customer readability, adhering to AP Style guidelines.
  • Create content with marketing AI tools and platforms to improve efficiency and innovation.
  • Develop standardized templates and style guides for consistent branding across the marketing department and other FSS activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, activity managers, and leadership to produce accurate and engaging promotions for events, programs, and offerings.
  • Support web management, email marketing, and social media campaigns using best practices for audience engagement and analytics.
  • Track and report campaign performance to continuously refine strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Use a ticketing system to manage marketing requests, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of assignments and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay aware of current and emerging marketing technologies, trends, and tools, recommending updates and innovations.
  • Assist with video production, photography, and livestreaming as needed.
  • Produce short and long-form video content, including reels and YouTube videos, while operating camera equipment to capture high-quality footage.
  • Attend special events and squadron functions to provide support through photography, videography, and on-site representation of the marketing department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, OR at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Expertise in designing advertisements and marketing campaigns using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in internet-based tools, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, CMS platforms, and email marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM strategies and social media analytics platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce AP Style copywriting with minimal errors.
  • Experience in photography, videography, and video editing, including creating content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Knowledge of AI tools for content creation and marketing automation software.
  • Highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external customers.
  • A results-driven portfolio showcasing graphic design and video production.
