About the position

The Marketing and Digital Communications Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) plays a crucial role in shaping impactful marketing strategies for both business and residential customers. This position involves managing a portfolio of programs focused on affordability and electrification initiatives, ensuring effective program execution, and aligning marketing campaigns with business objectives to enhance customer experience. The advisor will leverage data-driven insights and SCE's Martech stack to optimize marketing efforts and track performance metrics, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develops the Public Relations and Analyst Relations strategies to improve engagement, brand awareness and accountability for impact
  • Utilizes technical skills and marketing expertise to develop, implement, and optimize automated marketing program campaigns
  • Oversees project management execution for marketing communications activities including campaigns and content that supports the customers journey
  • Oversees the development of marketing communications campaigns by understanding media coverage and industry trends
  • Manages and supervises campaigns, ensuring compliance with the organisations marketing plans and objectives
  • Monitors key metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications efforts and make data-driven decisions
  • Shapes and oversees strategic marketing communication plans, including developing plans in line with other business initiatives
  • Reviews analytics and customer feedback to proactively identify and improve customer experiences
  • Responsible for all aspects of strategic campaign development, measurement and execution of marketing, digital and customer lifecycle nurture programs
  • Achieves operational efficiency via effective implementation plans.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of experience in marketing, advertising or communications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • Experience implementing automated offer management using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise-grade multi-channel marketing hub
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing strategy and planning driven by sophisticated analytics and data modeling
  • Utility or other highly regulated industry experience
  • Experience with enterprise marketing software - Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Exp. or Cloud
  • Ability to work independently and in fast paced environment
