The ideal candidate will inspire creative excellence by producing copy that is on brand, imaginative, and captivating for the relevant audience. This role requires a deep understanding of brand voice and the ability to evolve language style guides and copy best practices in accordance with brand values and mission. The Marketing and Editorial Copywriter will deliver key design and product stories, amplifying these narratives across various channels while ensuring that the messaging aligns with both brand and business objectives. In this position, the copywriter will provide smart, engaging, and revenue-minded copy that is empathetic to the customer journey and mindset. Conducting constant competitor and industry research is essential, with the goal of elevating content, optimizing the brand experience, and inspiring the audience through unique, well-crafted stories. The copywriter will manage content calendars and define standards for maximizing content success across all channels, including innovative ways to repurpose content to enhance the customer journey. Additionally, the Marketing and Editorial Copywriter will oversee the production of a high volume of time-sensitive product and brand marketing collateral, spanning both print and digital channels. Collaboration with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams is crucial to develop multi-channel assets, including email campaigns, social media, direct mail, packaging, and showrooms. The copywriter will monitor the consistency of materials, ensuring they adhere to established copy guidelines, and will produce error-free content while owning the proofreading and fact-checking process.
