About the position

The Marketing and Event Coordinator at Peak Performance, Inc. is responsible for coordinating training sessions, workshops, and conferences, ensuring a seamless experience for participants. This role involves promoting the company's services and brand through various marketing channels, including email campaigns and social media engagement. The coordinator will also maintain the CRM system, manage event logistics, and update the company website to enhance visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the CRM system by entering new and updated client information and collaborating with sales to hand off leads.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement special events, meetings, and conferences for the Smart Factory Institute.
  • Determine event programming, book speakers, and manage logistics such as food, transportation, and guest activities.
  • Create event presentations and coordinate the compilation of speaker presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with event venues and vendors, managing budgets and providing recommendations for event management.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training and event calendar that aligns with company objectives and client needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate space for in-person training, including technology setup and resource management.
  • Maintain inventory of promotional items.
  • Create, edit, and update website content to ensure accuracy and engagement, optimizing for search engines.
  • Develop and expand the company's web presence through email campaigns and social media posts.
  • Grow social media presence by creating engaging content and monitoring metrics.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing, business, promotional sales, or a related field; or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a Business-related field.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism and customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Photography and videography experience is a plus.
  • CRM experience; WIX proficiency is a plus.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
