About the position

The Marketing and Events Coordinator will work closely with the manager to organize and coordinate all marketing activities related to vehicle storage and events. This role is responsible for generating sales leads, promoting the venue, and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors. The coordinator will manage bookings, conduct site visits, and oversee administrative tasks, ensuring effective communication and organization within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and emails from current and potential customers of both storage and events.
  • Provide knowledgeable tours of the facility and answer questions from clients.
  • Book clients for events, meetings, or site visits.
  • Build relationships with outside vendors to assist in booking services such as valet, security, musicians, and caterers.
  • Maintain organized client files, sales and event contracts, and overall calendar.
  • Interact with storage clients and assist with moving vehicles and cleaning general areas.
  • Coordinate in-house and sponsored events such as cars and coffee and car rallies.

Requirements

  • One year of event management experience preferred.
  • One year of customer service experience required.
  • AA/BA or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • Ability to work with Excel, Microsoft Word, Email Programs, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
