About the position

The Marketing & Events Coordinator at 4AIR is responsible for managing all event marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and generate customer leads at various events. This role involves overseeing the entire event process, from planning to execution, ensuring the company's presence is impactful at local, national, and international events. The coordinator will work closely with various teams to support the company's sustainability mission in the aviation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Managing an event calendar of more than 40 events per year and overseeing the full life cycle of the events from initial conception to completion.
  • Managing the full event process and strategy to support the company's presence at events each year, including designing the company's presence, negotiating sponsorships, curating giveaways, and overseeing booth design.
  • Researching industry-related events and providing recommendations to the event calendar.
  • Managing and maintaining the approved budget for events.
  • Reporting to management on the success of each event by measuring leads and cost of attendance.
  • Assisting in resource allocation between various events and planning logistics with the shipping department.
  • Maintaining all required registrations, forms, and deadlines for events.
  • Planning new webinars and events to engage customers.
  • Reviewing and recommending sponsorship packages and speaking opportunities for various events.
  • Collaborating with the design team on graphics and press announcements around events.
  • Overseeing external vendors for AV, booth design, and product giveaways.
  • Managing the full marketing plan of events, including collateral development and promotion through email and social media.
  • Ensuring timely follow-up communication with various audiences, including program managers and event partners.
  • Managing social media content related to events and monitoring engagement opportunities.
  • Managing graphic design requests and identifying third-party vendors as needed.
  • Staying updated on emerging trends and regulations around environmental marketing.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a corporate environment focusing on event management, marketing, and communications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or related work experience.
  • Thorough understanding of successful event presence and production management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with management, employees, and vendors.
  • Ability to accept feedback and work collaboratively while advocating a clear creative vision.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Innovative and creative thinker, motivated by challenges and opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously in a semi-remote environment.
  • Adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of the sustainability industry, including carbon offsets and sustainable fuels.
  • Experience servicing high-profile customers for luxury goods or communicating sustainability initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the business aircraft industry, products, and services.
  • Possession of a pilot's license or active interest in aviation.
