About the position

JobTread is seeking a passionate individual to join our Marketing Team as a Marketing and Events Coordinator. This position will assist the Marketing Director with lead generation and event management which will directly contribute to the growth of the JobTread software. The full-time position offers a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in an entrepreneurial, team-based environment. As a Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for researching and managing a database of industry trade shows, booking trade show booths, and making travel arrangements for the team. You will track trade show resource allocation and maintain an inventory of trade show items. Attendance at trade shows is required, where you will be expected to demo the product at the booth. Additionally, you will assist in planning and hosting local events for prospects and customers, including an annual user conference. In terms of marketing responsibilities, you will assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for various marketing channels. You will research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content, monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback, and engage online communities through discussion, resource sharing, and polling. You will also assist in ordering company promotional items. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Research and manage database of industry trade shows.
  • Book trade show booth and travel arrangements for the team.
  • Track trade show resource allocation and maintain inventory of trade show items.
  • Attend trade shows and demo product at the booth.
  • Assist in the planning and hosting of local events for prospects and customers, including annual user conference.
  • Manage daily office administrative tasks, such as ordering snacks for the office and weekly team lunches.
  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
  • Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Engage online communities through discussion, resource sharing, and polling.
  • Assist in ordering company promotional items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.
  • 1+ years in a marketing, event planning, or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate with third parties effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and a clear communicator.
  • Organized, thorough, efficient, and able to complete tasks appropriately in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Writing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
