About the position

The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator at Olive View Federal Credit Union is responsible for leading the marketing and outreach efforts of the Credit Union. This role involves developing print, online, and multimedia materials, managing the brand's consistent use, and assisting in the strategic planning and implementation of marketing initiatives. The Coordinator will also organize events, enhance the Credit Union's visibility, and ensure member satisfaction through effective communication and outreach strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support a wide range of marketing activities.
  • Design, develop, and implement marketing programs and materials in support of the Credit Union's strategic plan and initiatives.
  • Evaluate marketing program results and revise as necessary.
  • Plan and administer the Credit Union marketing budget.
  • Develop and execute merchandising strategy.
  • Work with Credit Union staff and leadership to drive and integrate a brand strategy.
  • Negotiate with media agents to secure best pricing on marketing-related purchases.
  • Oversee the Credit Union's communication platforms, including website and social media channels.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for print and online material.
  • Develop and maintain content on the Credit Union website.
  • Maintain and ensure all text/email campaign communications.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for all marketing products and services.
  • Facilitate integration between online communications and traditional print materials.
  • Develop and execute a proactive media and crisis preparation strategy.
  • Assist in refreshing Credit Union lobby with new content and seasonal décor.
  • Represent the Credit Union and develop outreach initiatives to increase visibility and membership.
  • Coordinate outreach activities to attract new members and inform about financial education programs.
  • Promote the Credit Union through organizing events and public speaking.
  • Network and nurture relationships with County facility staff and organize networking events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a business-related field or 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with performance marketing, social media marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML for creating online content.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in outreach coordination at a Credit Union or bank.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
