About the position

The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator at King Health Systems is a full-time role focused on enhancing relationships with healthcare providers and managing outreach efforts for an outpatient mental health clinic. The position involves a blend of administrative tasks, patient interaction, and community engagement to support the clinic's mission of providing individualized mental health care to clients, particularly those with Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen existing relationships and cultivate new ones with referring physicians.
• Open and/or close the clinic Monday to Friday as needed.
• Develop business relationships and contacts to increase fundraising, marketing, referrals, and community involvement.
• Check patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Answer and manage the multi-line phone system.
• Enter new referrals into an electronic medical health record.
• Schedule new and ongoing psychiatric appointments.
• Get client consent forms signed.
• Contact scheduled patients with appointment reminders.
• Update records in the electronic medical health record as needed.
• Maintain an appointment calendar for all clinicians.
• Assist clients with setting up video calls with the nurse practitioner.
• Take blood pressure and weight measurements for in-person clients.
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care doctors, pharmacies, rehabilitation programs, and other referral sources.
• Handle daily incoming and outgoing mail, and fax records as needed.
• Format and send out monthly newsletters, e-birthday cards, satisfaction surveys, reminders, and other communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High School graduate or higher
• Customer Service or Medical Office experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical insurances
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new applications
• Ability to multi-task
• High level of organization
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
• Competency with equipment and medical information pertaining to health screenings
