About the position

The Marketing and Proposal Coordinator at Froehling & Robertson, Inc. is responsible for developing and preparing qualifications-based proposals and marketing materials. This role involves collaborating with team members to ensure proposals meet client requirements and deadlines, while also supporting the marketing department's initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares prime proposals by reviewing RFP/RFQs, gathering and formatting information, developing drafts, and obtaining approvals.
  • Prepares teaming materials by coordinating with other firm counterparts to meet request requirements and developing drafts.
  • Determines prime proposal concepts by identifying risks, clarifying opportunities, and leading strategy meetings.
  • Meets deadlines for marketing deliverables as established by the Marketing Manager and participates in internal QA/QC processes.
  • Enters and monitors data in CRM, Microsoft Planner, and other tracking systems.
  • Coordinates requirements with contributors and provides status updates to operations teams.
  • Prepares presentations that enhance the company's value proposition by evaluating text, graphics, and narrative.
  • Maintains quality results using templates and follows proposal-writing standards.
  • Maintains successful relationships with teaming partners and internal operations team leaders.
  • Expands job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
  • Contributes to organizational goals by accepting ownership of assignments and exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Supports marketing initiatives involving planning, executing, and tracking activities.
  • Creates, proofreads, and edits copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice.
  • Assists with developing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts.
  • Evaluates and monitors ongoing proposal performance by contributing key metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience in A/E/C marketing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Cloud, including graphic design skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Self-starter who independently moves projects forward, prioritizes tasks, and meets deadlines.
