About the position

The Marketing and Recruitment Leader is responsible for promoting the educational programs of Paul Mitchell The School Sacramento and enhancing the school's brand presence in the local community. This role involves planning and executing lead-generating events, engaging in community outreach, and fostering strong relationships within the community. The leader will also support school-sponsored clubs and encourage student participation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the school's yearly marketing calendar in collaboration with school leaders.
  • Hold monthly meetings with the School Director to report on marketing activities and needs.
  • Maintain an inventory of branded marketing products and ensure school imagery and online content are current.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics such as conversion rates and event ROI, reporting findings to the School Director or Owner.
  • Plan and execute lead-generating events like career fairs and open houses.
  • Support and lead school-sponsored clubs to enhance student engagement.
  • Manage the school's CRM to track generated leads effectively.
  • Create and deliver online content for various departments.
  • Collaborate with online marketing vendors to support the yearly marketing strategy.
  • Participate in daily and weekly team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred.
  • At least two years of marketing experience, including one year in social media marketing.
  • Proactive and energetic attitude with a passion for the beauty industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creative content writing.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with social media and marketing platforms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in community outreach and relationship building.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking.
