About the position

The Marketing & Sales Manager at Senior Helpers will be responsible for developing and managing new lead sources while maintaining and expanding relationships within the professional community. This role is crucial for promoting the company's in-home senior services, which include specialized care for conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's. The position emphasizes building rapport with local healthcare providers and representing the company at community functions and professional organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify all local influence centers such as hospitals, nursing homes, and doctors' offices to determine lead sources.
  • Personally visit and arrange meetings with individuals responsible for client referrals.
  • Contact 8-10 lead sources each day to generate leads.
  • Arrange presentations of the company's services at staff meetings in various healthcare settings.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company's services.
  • Network with industry professionals to develop additional lead sources.
  • Develop sales opportunities and promote a positive image of the company in the community.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in outside sales and marketing, including making sales calls and cold calls.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and display sincerity and compassion.
  • Self-motivation and a passion for meeting new people and making sales calls.
  • Experience in healthcare, home care, or pharmaceutical sales is a plus.
  • Background in customer service or hospitality is beneficial.
  • High level of initiative and self-sufficiency in accomplishing responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Word and the ability to learn home care management software.
