The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator position is an immediate full-time opportunity based in Beverly Hills. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with management to brainstorm, create, and implement innovative strategies and social initiatives aimed at growing, nurturing, and engaging the company’s social media audience. The coordinator will be responsible for driving the growth of social audiences by effectively communicating with talent to create compelling content that highlights the company’s products and releases. A key aspect of this role involves continually sourcing new and engaging talent on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. The coordinator will build and maintain a detailed contact list that will be instrumental during product launches, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are informed and engaged. Additionally, the coordinator will be tasked with creating and maintaining a comprehensive content list for Instagram and YouTube, which includes appropriate artwork, hashtags, and copy that aligns with the company’s branding and marketing goals. Under the guidance of the Marketing Director, the coordinator will monitor social media campaigns and gather consumer insights through direct interactions with consumers via online questions, customer service issues, and emails. Maintaining a detailed content calendar in conjunction with the Art and Marketing Directors is crucial for ensuring that all marketing efforts are synchronized and effective. The coordinator will also be responsible for identifying existing and emerging social media tools that can enhance the execution of campaigns, staying informed about new platforms and potential opportunities for expansion. The role requires a thorough understanding of or experience in public relations, promotions, e-commerce, and the beauty/fashion industry. The coordinator will coordinate and launch social contests, which includes creating contest rules, developing landing pages, and managing prize fulfillment. Monitoring social media channels, conducting competitive product analysis, and keeping the team informed about industry news and trends that may impact the company are also vital responsibilities. Finally, the coordinator will create and analyze analytics reports on a bi-weekly basis using tools such as Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, and TweetDeck to measure the effectiveness of social media strategies and campaigns.
