The Marketing and Social Media Manager will oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies and social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to manage marketing initiatives across multiple channels and create a cohesive online presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing social media platforms, overseeing campaign management, and ensuring brand consistency across all communications. This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to effectively lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments. Key responsibilities include conducting market research to identify opportunities and trends, creating and managing social media strategies, planning and overseeing marketing campaigns, and utilizing analytics tools to measure performance. The Marketing and Social Media Manager will also be responsible for content creation, team leadership, budget management, and staying updated on industry trends to keep the brand at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive brand growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Set marketing goals, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Create, manage, and execute social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Develop engaging content plans and manage the content calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with audiences, and manage online reputation.
  • Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and events.
  • Coordinate with creative teams to produce marketing materials and ensure campaign consistency.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and multimedia assets.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of marketing and social media initiatives.
  • Generate insights and actionable recommendations to improve strategies and drive results.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing and social media professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, PR, and product development to ensure cohesive execution of marketing strategies.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in marketing and social media management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, SEMrush).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
