About the position

The Marketing and Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance awareness and engagement with Lyfe HQ's courses and mission. This role requires a digital marketing expert who excels in social media management, content creation, and community engagement, particularly within the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and social media strategy to raise awareness of Lyfe HQ's mission, courses, and initiatives.
  • Manage social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok), including creating, scheduling, and publishing content that aligns with our mission and engages our audience.
  • Create visually appealing and engaging multimedia content (graphics, videos, infographics) for digital platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and performance metrics to optimize strategies and content.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with influencers, organizations, and communities to increase Lyfe HQ's reach and impact.
  • Plan and execute online campaigns to drive traffic to our website and encourage course enrollment.
  • Manage the marketing budget and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Respond to community comments and messages across platforms, fostering positive relationships and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and social media, especially within the non-profit sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in marketing, social media management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a startup environment.
  • Passion for Lyfe HQ's mission and a strong understanding of the challenges facing at-risk communities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and SEO is a plus.
