About the position

The Marketing Assistant and Special Events Coordinator at Merit Coffee, LLC is an entry-level position designed for a motivated individual to support the marketing team in various administrative and event coordination tasks. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company's presence in the artisanal coffee industry across Texas, providing opportunities to engage with customers and manage events effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Team with daily and weekly marketing administration tasks.
  • Monitor and manage all customer inquiries for e-commerce, wholesale, and café businesses.
  • Pull various sales data and create spreadsheets to show trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct inventory analysis for merchandise.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with social media, email campaigns, package design projects, and merchandise development.
  • Manage logistics and execution of all Merit Coffee events throughout the year.
  • Act as the Merit Coffee Brand Ambassador during events and community engagements.
  • Monitor and respond to special events and donation requests.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized and self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to act as a brand ambassador.
  • Must reside in San Antonio, Texas and work at the Merit Headquarters.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Texas.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of gourmet/artisanal coffee is a plus.
