About the position

The Marketing Assistant / Digital Specialist at Central Bank Illinois plays a crucial role in enhancing the bank's brand through various marketing initiatives. This in-person position involves assisting the Marketing Officer in developing and implementing advertising, promotions, and digital marketing strategies across all markets. The role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze digital marketing performance to expand the bank's online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the release of new products by developing and distributing marketing materials.
  • Research and develop digital marketing solutions and enhancements.
  • Plan, create, and implement digital marketing campaigns with guidance from the Marketing Officer.
  • Research, write, and edit social media optimized posts for various audiences.
  • Identify analytics, results, and performance indicators to expand the bank's digital footprint.
  • Monitor social media content and adjust imagery and messaging as needed.
  • Create and write content for appropriate digital formats.
  • Manage the bank's social media content calendar.
  • Serve as administrator for the bank's social media channels and website.
  • Assist with direct mail campaigns and design advertisements.
  • Create press releases and coordinate photo opportunities.
  • Contact outside vendors for promotional items and distribute them to bank markets.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating bank-sponsored community events.
  • Represent the bank at events, open houses, and trade shows.
  • Assist with business development directives, including onboarding and report generation.
  • Maintain the bank's marketing file for compliance and regulatory purposes.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, FTP, CMS, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience in platform administration for LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Google.
  • Understanding of database-marketing strategies such as SEO, SEM, and web marketing metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Associate's degree or higher, preferably in graphic design, marketing, or communications.
