About the position

The Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing Starbond's social media presence and driving influencer collaborations. This position focuses on scaling video content production and strengthening partnerships with influencers, contributing significantly to the company's ambitious marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with U.S.-based influencers, streamlining communication through calls, texts, and direct outreach.
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns that align with the brand's voice and objectives, providing clear guidelines for content.
  • Facilitate bulk content creation with influencers, supporting a high-volume content strategy that enables consistent daily output.
  • Foster long-term partnerships and ensure influencer content delivers on engagement and brand reach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and influencers to create raw video content in bulk, overseeing the process from planning to post-production.
  • Write engaging, on-brand captions for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Design eye-catching, branded content using tools like Canva, ensuring visual consistency across all digital channels.
  • Support the editing and optimization of video content for various platforms.
  • Track and report on influencer-related expenses, monitoring campaign performance and sales impact.
  • Analyze data to measure content and campaign effectiveness, generating insights to inform future strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on engagement metrics, ROI, and overall content reach, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Help execute social media campaigns that align with broader marketing goals, maintaining an active online presence.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platforms, and influencer marketing strategies to continuously optimize the approach.
  • Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings, bringing fresh ideas to elevate content and community engagement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or influencer coordination, ideally within an e-commerce setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with influencers and external partners.
  • Experience in data analysis and report generation for campaign performance.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking metrics and reporting.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and strategies for enhancing engagement.
  • Competence in graphic design tools like Canva (essential), with basic video editing skills (a plus).
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
