About the position

Stop N Stor is seeking a skilled Marketing Assistant to join their team in Savannah, Georgia. This full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding career in marketing within a rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for marketing, contributing to the development of marketing plans and tactics aimed at generating leads and inquiries for all stores. The role involves analyzing marketing data, managing digital marketing efforts, and executing community marketing initiatives to maximize customer engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Import marketing data into Excel for analysis with the team.
  • View website performance using Google Analytics, keyword search, call tracking metrics, and site visits in collaboration with the Web Design & Marketing Firm.
  • Assist in conveying communications and changes with the Marketing Firm.
  • Produce year-end ROI study to develop the following year's marketing plan.
  • Spot check the corporate website, StopNStorStorage.com, adding specials, promotions, events, PR, and other content as needed.
  • Maintain social media channels and events, ads, and content as needed.
  • Manage memberships and attendees for Chamber of Commerce functions, association events, and trade shows to build relationships.
  • Assist in planning special events to drive in-person consumer visits to physical property sites.
  • Assist with print advertising, contract negotiations, and final proof approval for all printed materials.
  • Maintain inventories of all marketing collateral supplies, including promotional items.
  • Monitor traditional advertising and online ad placement.
  • Assist with artwork for print media and development of property signage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing planning and budgeting, and marketing program performance analysis; preferred 5 years.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Places, and Google AdWords required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and WordPress.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Products preferred.
  • Experience in a self-storage or real estate environment is a plus.
