About the position

The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing department at Insomniac's Clubs Division by executing marketing strategies and handling administrative and social media duties. This role is essential for promoting shows across various social media platforms, creating engaging content, and assisting with organizational tasks for the marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
• Support the marketing team in organizing various projects like college & influencer outreach, promotions, and experience activations at club shows.
• Attend various club shows to help post on social media, create content, and facilitate activations.
• Help ideate and create content for brand awareness, including viral TikToks, reels, and memes.
• Gather weekly social media insights and marketing trends across various platforms.
• Reply to DMs, comments, and questions on various platforms to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications focused.
• Active social media user across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Docs & Sheets.
• Familiarity with electronic music artists/DJs and the culture behind it.
• Desire to work in the entertainment industry.
• Self-motivated and task-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
