About the position

The Marketing Automation & Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for leading digital communication campaigns and initiatives at Intermatic. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including email marketing automation, social media management, content writing, and optimizing the CRM database. The specialist will also support campaign metrics, analytics, and reporting to ensure the effectiveness of marketing strategies. The position requires collaboration with both customer marketing and digital marketing teams to develop and execute a marketing automation strategy that aligns with the company's business goals. In this role, the specialist will identify opportunities to implement automated workflows, nurture campaigns, drip campaigns, customer onboarding, and lead scoring processes. They will create, configure, and execute marketing automation campaigns using the HubSpot platform, and develop A/B tests to optimize various elements of the campaigns such as email subject lines, content, calls-to-action, and customer engagement. The specialist will also draft, edit, and review a wide range of inbound marketing deliverables, including emails, social media posts, blog articles, and landing page copy. They will collaborate with stakeholders to identify key campaign themes and tailor messages to different customer segments. Additionally, the specialist will work with in-house designers to develop visual assets that support inbound marketing deliverables and assist the customer marketing team with ad-hoc copywriting and creative projects. Data management is a critical aspect of this role, as the specialist will serve as a central point of authority for CRM-related issues and inquiries. They will manage and segment contact databases for targeted communication and personalization, and collaborate with internal teams to integrate and synchronize data from various sources. The specialist will monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer marketing and digital marketing teams to develop and execute an effective marketing automation strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) working with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and customer lifecycle management.
  • Experience and expertise in publishing content on common social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive data-driven decisions, including social media metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite software (e.g., Workfront, Photoshop, Adobe Stock).
  • Relevant certifications in marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Google Adwords) are advantageous.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
