About the position

The Marketing Automation Intern position at Cook Medical LLC offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in marketing automation, digital marketing strategies, and data analysis within the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry. This 12-week paid internship is designed for motivated and detail-oriented individuals who are enthusiastic about marketing technology and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Interns will work closely with the digital marketing team and participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the company's marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup, testing, and execution of marketing automation campaigns across various platforms (e.g., email, social media, web).
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Help maintain and update the marketing database to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for campaign improvement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the marketing automation platform.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Interest in a career in the Life Sciences field.
  • Willingness to take initiative and ability to work well with others.
  • Students entering their Junior or Senior year the following fall semester or entering graduate school are eligible; candidates who graduate the spring semester before this internship are also eligible.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp) is a plus.
