About the position

The Marketing Automation Product Manager will lead the strategic direction and roadmap for marketing automation platforms at Morningstar, focusing on delivering personalized experiences to prospects and customers. This role involves defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring effective execution of marketing campaigns across various channels. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of marketing automation technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the marketing automation platform (Eloqua) and related products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to gather insights and prioritize requirements.
  • Define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation as a thought leader and subject matter expert.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides and training materials.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and value proposition to stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the marketing automation or related software industry.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of marketing automation concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of user experience and design principles.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management techniques.
