About the position

Medcor is seeking a full-time Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Marketing Team to architect and manage a best-in-class marketing automation ecosystem. This role is pivotal in taking ownership of contact databases and building complex and evolving workflows that optimize lead journeys at the enterprise level. The specialist will lead the continuous evaluation and enhancement of Medcor's websites and the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success tech stack. This position is hybrid, with locations in Sioux Falls, SD, and McHenry, IL, while a remote option is available for Minneapolis, MN. The standard schedule for this role is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. In this role, the Marketing Automation Specialist will maintain leads throughout their journeys, including data synchronization between the Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) and the contact relationship management platform (CRM). They will recommend and enhance lead scoring, serving as the MAP owner and leading the execution of automated lead nurturing and retention campaigns, workflows, and reporting. A strong understanding of business acumen and critical thinking will be essential to assess the impact of MAP and CRM systems on business operations and revenue growth, ensuring data consistency and integrity across platforms. The specialist will partner with sales and customer success teams to leverage the MAP and CRM for effective lead nurturing and customer relationship management. They will optimize tracking links, lead generation forms, and landing pages, facilitating data integration between websites, email service providers, and the MAP. Additionally, they will leverage project management software (Asana) to effectively collaborate and coordinate with team members, troubleshoot and resolve website and MAP issues, and ensure seamless data flow by integrating the MAP with the CRM and other essential business tools. The role also involves collaborating with IT to ensure proper website hosting, security, and performance, maintaining and updating Medcor's websites, and ensuring compliance with applicable copyright, privacy, and data protection laws and accessibility laws. The specialist will maintain a deep and evolving understanding of marketing automation and website strategies, serving as a subject matter expert (SME) and advising on industry trends and innovations to achieve marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain leads throughout the journeys including data syncs between the MAP and CRM, recommending and enhancing lead scoring.

  • Leverage a strong understanding of business acumen and critical thinking to assess the impact of MAP and CRM systems on business operations and revenue growth.

  • Maintain and update Medcor's websites, ensuring flawless functionality across all devices; optimization for search engines; and compliance with applicable copyright, privacy and data protection laws and accessibility laws.
  • Maintain a deep and evolving understanding of marketing automation and website strategies and serve as SME, advising on industry trends and innovations to achieve Marketing objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 3 years of marketing automation/digital marketing experience demonstrating a deep understanding of B2B marketing principles.
  • Preferred experience with HubSpot and/or Microsoft Customer Insights-Journeys.
  • 2+ years of experience owning and optimizing website channels, including web content management systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Dynamics 365/Customer Insights preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Google Analytics 4; Search Console; Tag Manager and Ads.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic web development principles for website optimization tasks.
  • Familiarity with working within project management platforms.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Web Development or related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of B2B marketing principles with HubSpot and/or Microsoft Customer Insights - Journeys.
  • 3+ years' experience with WordPress.
  • 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Dynamic 365/Customer Insights.
  • 1+ years experience with Asana.
  • Experience with digital architecture tools such as Figma or Lucidchart.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency.
  • Basic animation skills (e.g. GIF creation) a plus.
