About the position

The Marketing Brand Manager role is a senior position focused on developing and executing global brand and marketing strategies for high-profile game titles. This position requires collaboration with global marketers and development studios to ensure successful go-to-market strategies and brand representation across various campaigns. The role also involves budget management and partnership with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver impactful marketing assets.

Responsibilities

  • Define global brand and product strategy, including positioning, unique selling points, and go-to-market approach based on strategic target audiences, market, and player insights.
  • Partner with global cross-functional teams to pull together holistic global business results for their portfolio.
  • Accountable for the success of the global marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent representation of brands in global activations while overseeing tactical execution on global campaigns.
  • Manage internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver key marketing and creative assets and programs while ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Partner with development studio to develop product marketing strategy for game titles, including determining appropriate target audiences, business models, launch timing, and product/service feature sets.
  • Ensure consumer insights are provided during the development of games through qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Manage global marketing budget for the title.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of and experience working on AAA Games, platform experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated record of success in developing high impact global consumer strategies, mass market marketing campaigns, brand marketing, and direct to consumer performance-based marketing for a portfolio of games/services.
  • Broad experience and understanding of all facets of the marketing discipline including consumer insights, product positioning, consumer promotions, online innovation, and creative development.
  • Ability to influence and engage external and internal stakeholders in a franchise brand vision.
  • Experience partnering with licensors and working on licensed IP games.
  • Extensive knowledge of and a passion for video games.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or equivalent education is a plus.
