About the position

The Kansas City Chiefs are seeking a Brand Manager to develop and execute strategies and campaigns that enhance the brand's visibility and engagement with fans. This role requires an innovative thinker with a passion for sports and a deep understanding of brand management, focusing on both brand-first campaigns and merchandise initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to enhance the Chiefs' market position and visibility.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Manage communication and oversight with external agency partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize insights and data to understand fans and ensure programming resonates with their interests.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to orchestrate impactful campaigns.
  • Develop initiatives to grow fandom and loyalty among fans.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling brand content with internal and external partners.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing or related roles, preferably in lifestyle, sports, or entertainment industries.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for understanding consumer behavior.
  • 2+ years of experience with agency management.
  • Strong project management skills.
