About the position

The Kansas City Chiefs Brand Manager will develop and execute strategies and campaigns that enhance the brand's presence and engagement with fans. This role requires an innovative thinker with a passion for sports and a deep understanding of brand management, focusing on both brand-first campaigns and merchandise initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to enhance the Chiefs' market position and visibility.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Manage communication and oversight with external agency partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize insights and data to understand fans and ensure programming resonates with their interests.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with various departments to create impactful campaigns.
  • Develop initiatives to grow fandom and loyalty, creating personalized experiences for fans.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling brand content with internal and external partners.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing or related roles, preferably in lifestyle, sports, or entertainment industries.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for understanding consumer behavior.
  • 2+ years of experience with agency management.
  • Strong project management skills.
