About the position

This position supports the company's marketing and business development activities. The successful candidate will be positive, high energy, self-directed, honest, focused, organized, flexible, and detail-oriented. The role involves working closely with managers to follow up on specific target customers and organize meetings with customers and managers. The coordinator will lead the development and preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Pre-Qualification documents, and formal presentations, ensuring that all communication with customers adheres to company standards and is correct in content and format. Additionally, the coordinator will solicit customer feedback throughout the project proposal and execution phases, maintaining regular contact with target customers to mine for new opportunities and report regularly on the status of meetings. The coordinator will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and upgrading marketing materials, including company brochures, award submissions, presentations, proposals, and social media content. This includes maintaining a marketing database, proposal log, and archives of firm-related articles and activities. The role requires the development, maintenance, and implementation of business development/client marketing and distribution lists, as well as handling outside requests of a general promotional nature from clients and consultants. The coordinator will serve as the main information resource for the staff to gather and follow up on provided leads, keeping the staff informed of marketing techniques for use in presentations and critiquing presentations. Furthermore, the coordinator will coordinate the company's participation at exhibits, tradeshows, conferences, or on-site and off-site client functions.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing and/or business development experience.
  • Experience in graphic design is required.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to market to existing and potential clients to generate new business.
  • Some travel required.
