About the position

The Marketing and Business Development Manager at Priority Payments Local is responsible for shaping the company's marketing strategy, enhancing brand awareness, and driving customer acquisition. This role involves leading a marketing team, collaborating with various departments, and significantly impacting the organization's growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Seek out, develop, and manage partnerships to grow business and improve brand image.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the Priority Payments Local brand, ensuring consistency and alignment with company values.
  • Manage brand messaging and positioning to resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to adapt branding strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Drive the growth of the company's online presence and engagement through various digital channels.
  • Measure and analyze digital marketing performance, optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to develop and execute lead generation strategies to acquire new customers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts support lead conversion and customer retention.
  • Implement marketing automation tools to streamline lead nurturing processes.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and sales materials.
  • Ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and effectively communicates the company's value proposition.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy, including both virtual and in-person events, to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of events, such as webinars, trade shows, conferences, product launches, and customer appreciation events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the financial services or technology sector.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, team leadership, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and marketing ROI measurement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated graphic design skills and ability to design and produce fresh content.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of management.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and research multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate with other offices to obtain input.
  • High level of ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled at using MS Office and Adobe applications.
