About the position

The Marketing Communication Specialist at Advancial Federal Credit Union plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's competitive position through effective marketing strategies. This position involves coordinating marketing activities, providing consultation to various departments, and managing communication systems to ensure alignment with the Credit Union's mission and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central point of contact and liaison for all Advancial departments, focusing on marketing consultation and support.
  • Coordinate marketing resources to meet departmental needs in a timely manner.
  • Provide updates regarding goals and objectives to all parties involved.
  • Ensure strategic direction is implemented correctly and on time in collaboration with the Marketing Communications team.
  • Report results of marketing efforts to the Marketing Communications Director and include them in monthly Progress Reports.
  • Coordinate the creation, distribution, and maintenance of communication systems across departments, including social media and marketing materials.
  • Administer all Social Media accounts and manage the content calendar for the Credit Union.
  • Develop strategic plans for promoting products and services through social media while achieving organic follower growth.
  • Administer the content of the Marketing Department information on the Credit Union's intranet and produce internal communications as needed.
  • Coordinate special events and corporate sponsorships, including the annual meeting logistics.
  • Collaborate with Creative Services to generate marketing communications materials and maintain various marketing systems.
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge of all Credit Union accounts, rates, and services offered.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and legal counsel to develop disclosures ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Administer designated projects, maintaining schedules and resource allocation.
  • Research new technologies and trends for reaching new members and driving business, making recommendations to the Marketing Communications Director.
  • Contribute to strategy, content creation, and implementation of advertising campaigns across various channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
  • One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial services marketing.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations in marketing.
