About the position

The Marketing Communications Associate plays a vital role in the execution of TBAM Community's communications and marketing strategies. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including branding, social media management, content creation, public relations, website management, special events coordination, and advertising strategies. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The role requires a proactive approach to support the marketing team in planning, executing, and tracking marketing initiatives across multiple platforms such as email, social media, events, and paid advertisements. In this position, the Marketing Communications Associate will brainstorm and assist in developing creative marketing campaigns, collaborating with the team to generate content ideas for social media and the website. The associate will also be responsible for organizing and managing all marketing assets and collateral, ensuring that all content posted on website properties adheres to the TBAM style guide and accessibility compliance. Maintaining and updating marketing calendars, managing schedules for initiatives, and creating, proofreading, and editing copy for various marketing channels are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the associate will assist with eNewsletters and promotional emails using established email platforms such as Constant Contact, Veracross, and ShulCloud. The role includes maintaining a style manual, recommending updates, managing vendor relations, and providing onsite support at selected events as needed by the marketing team. This position is essential for ensuring that all marketing efforts are executed smoothly and effectively, contributing to the overall success of TBAM Community's outreach and engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in planning, executing, and tracking of marketing initiatives across all platforms (email, event, social media, content, paid ads)
  • Brainstorm and assist with developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide creative and content ideas for social and website.
  • Organize and manage all marketing assets and collateral.
  • Manage, coordinate and post content on website properties including writing, editing and proofing in accordance with TBAM style guide and accessibility compliance.
  • Maintain and update calendars as needed; manage website calendar.
  • Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
  • Assist with eNewsletters and tactical promotional emails, utilizing established email platforms (Constant Contact, Veracross & ShulCloud).
  • Maintain style manual and recommend updates.
  • Assist in managing vendor relations and coordinating with vendors to facilitate promotional materials are received and organized in a timely manner.
  • Provide onsite support at selected events based on needs of marketing team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications or related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and work in teams, as well as ability to work independently.
  • Approachable, with the ability to work with limited supervision in a very dynamic environment.
  • Ability to multitask and handle rapidly shifting priorities and short deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Canva and Adobe Graphics Suite.
