About the position

The Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE) is looking for a part-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support the Executive Director (ED) in various essential tasks. This role is designed for a motivated marketing and communications professional who possesses superior organizational skills, a creative mindset, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The position offers a flexible work schedule, averaging 15 hours a week, and is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or events. The ideal candidate will have applicable knowledge of MemberClicks AMS, which is crucial for success in this role. CSAE is an association representing over 400 professionals in the association industry, dedicated to providing valuable benefits to its members and stakeholders. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will play a vital role in aligning strategies and efforts with leadership, monitoring and updating the membership database, creating content for marketing campaigns, managing the CSAE website, and assisting with social media content to enhance membership growth and public brand awareness. Additionally, the coordinator will support event planning and coordination, contribute to digital newsletters, and assist at CSAE-produced networking and social events. This position requires a self-motivated and results-oriented individual who can work efficiently both independently and collaboratively. The candidate should have a strong background in social media marketing, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office. A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or public relations is preferred, along with at least two years of relevant experience in public relations, marketing, communications, or database administration.

Responsibilities

  • Support leadership to align strategy and efforts.
  • Monitor and update membership database, MemberClicks.
  • Create content for marketing campaigns for membership and events.
  • Manage and update CSAE website weekly or as needed.
  • Assist and execute social media content to foster positive membership growth, engagement, and public brand awareness.
  • Support event planning and coordination.
  • Assist with database reports to analyze KPIs, predict revenue, and optimize goals.
  • Contribute content to digital newsletters based on trending topics and research to highlight members.
  • Periodically assist CSAE at CSAE-produced networking and social events.

Requirements

  • Applicable knowledge of the membership management software, MemberClicks.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field: Marketing, Communications, or PR (preferred).
  • At least 2 years applicable experience in PR, marketing, communications, or database administration.
