About the position

The Marketing Communications Coordinator at MACOM plays a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Communications team in the development and execution of a comprehensive global marketing program. This position involves utilizing a blend of online and offline marketing strategies, including sales enablement, newsletters, website promotion, video production, and support for industry events. The coordinator will focus heavily on project management, trade show coordination, and the implementation of web content. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities and a knack for meeting tight deadlines. A significant aspect of this role includes coordinating all logistics related to trade shows, managing and updating content on MACOM's external website, and overseeing the internal sales and employee portals. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining a content schedule for the websites and performing regular content audits. Additionally, the role involves managing a support ticketing system and assisting with sales training initiatives. Collaboration is key in this position, as the coordinator will work closely with the corporate communications team, various functional teams within MACOM, and different business units. Daily support for the new product introduction process will be required, along with managing MACOM's web presence, which includes content creation and metrics tracking. The coordinator will also support HR and employee communications programs, execute customer and internal communication newsletters, and assist in the preparation of trade shows and events. Furthermore, the role includes supporting the social media program by implementing strategies across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing communications, project management and strategic thinking
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry or Technology Hardware industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business to Business marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with database marketing preferred
  • Understanding of CRM web platforms
  • Knowledge of web and database marketing techniques
  • Strong project management, organizational and planning skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry
