About the position

The Marketing Assistant position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key marketing objectives and goals. In addition to general administrative support of Marketing Management, the position will be responsible for trade show coordination, special event planning, public relations support, and assistance with social media and web campaigns, which are designed to support achieving our revenue growth goals for all of CST.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials and collateral
  • Assist with social media and website content
  • Assist in developing and maintaining PowerPoint presentations in support of marketing, business development and sales efforts
  • Development of ongoing marketing campaigns and AIPs
  • Organize and coordinate trade show activities for both domestic and international shows
  • Organize and coordinate corporate events, dealer events, sales meetings/training and other events
  • Set up and maintain trade show calendar and other sales/marketing events and/or meetings using Microsoft Outlook
  • Order and manage all promotional materials
  • Order product samples as needed
  • Coordinate lead development, dissemination and tracking activities including creating and maintaining an accurate database, coordinating lead-through order tracking, obtaining lead lists and attendee lists
  • Update all online company directory listings/backlinks with updated company information
  • Support sales with administrative reports, confidential documents, and marketing samples as needed
  • Support manager in preparing and consolidating marketing budgets
  • Track and report tradeshow reviews for ROIs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields, or minimum 4 years of equivalent marketing experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Minimum of two years' experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Self-starter mentality with little direction necessary, desire to learn and improve
  • Must be able to assemble and disassemble small trade show booths
