About the position

The Marketing Communications Coordinator at Hamilton plays a vital role in supporting the company's marketing communications initiatives, contributing to the strategic and operational goals of the organization. This position involves collaboration with various teams to ensure effective delivery of communications across multiple platforms, while maintaining brand compliance and reflecting the company's values.

Responsibilities

  • Work fluidly across a variety of technology platforms and various channels to assist in the development and delivery of Hamilton's groupwide Communications initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support and launch projects under tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy, relevance and successful delivery
  • Prepare engaging and consistently updated content across communications channels including our intranet, website, social media and print media
  • Review and provide analytics reports for broker campaigns, events and key projects
  • Support the production of marketing collateral
  • Coordinate market research to feed into marketing communications plans
  • Coordinate with external vendors, printers, conferences and sponsorships
  • Ensure the Company's culture, values and business imperatives are reflected in projects
  • Ensure brand compliance and consistency
  • Contribute to design and idea generation

Requirements

  • A corporate communications professional with proven experience in a similar role with a desire to learn and develop
  • Previous experience working within the insurance or financial services sectors preferred but not essential
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to independently take a project from concept to completion
  • A high level of proficiency across the Microsoft ecosystem, including core Office applications, Teams, Outlook
  • Social media proficiency, particularly on LinkedIn
  • Keen interest in marketing and communications trends
  • Hands-on experience with the development, deployment and measurement of integrated / cross-channel marketing communications
  • Ability to productively manage external vendors
  • A firm grasp of branding and an eye for design, including an understanding of key design concepts in digital and print media
  • Familiarity with Adobe design applications (particularly InDesign) is desirable
  • Results- and growth-oriented mindset
