FranklinCovey is seeking an experienced and visionary Marketing Communications Director to lead our strategic communication efforts within the Education Marketing division. This pivotal role is designed for a marketing leader who can create a premier social media presence, amplify global brand awareness, and establish thought leadership in the K-12 and higher education sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients, and key influencers to elevate our brand and guide public relations initiatives that enhance and safeguard our reputation. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of unleashing potential in students, educators, and school communities around the world. In this role, you will establish and drive multi-channel communications strategies that expand and elevate our global social media presence. You will implement proactive public relations strategies to build brand awareness and drive demand, while also monitoring and responding to PR concerns in coordination with the Education VP of Sales and the Director of Public Relations. Collaboration with product launch and marketing teams will be essential to ensure effective messaging and positioning for new and existing product lines, as well as targeted campaigns and initiatives. You will engage with community members and stakeholders to identify and amplify impactful stories across multimedia channels. Additionally, you will manage the education marketing team's corporate and internal communication strategy around various initiatives, launches, and campaigns, ensuring brand voice and integrity across all platforms. Your responsibilities will also include managing media relations, developing contacts with clients and community leaders, and assisting in the creation of digital, video, audio, and print content. You will be tasked with identifying and reporting on key metrics and KPIs that demonstrate the impact and ROI of our communication channels, while partnering with the VP of Marketing and Director of Marketing to effectively allocate and manage the budget needed to drive the expected outcomes of our communication strategies. The role may require travel, averaging 4-8 times per year.
