In the role of Marketing Communications Manager 2 within our Network Technology Solutions Group (NTSG), you will play a pivotal role in leading AMD's media planning and buying efforts. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive content strategy and managing the necessary agency interactions to ensure cohesive execution across both paid and earned media channels. This position requires a forward-thinking individual who is innovative and solutions-oriented, always seeking to improve processes and outcomes. You will need to be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, and confident in presenting ideas to senior management. As part of your responsibilities, you will plan, develop, and implement paid media strategies that align with AMD's brand across various business units and geographical locations, in partnership with our media agency. You will serve as the integration point across multiple agencies, ensuring that our communications are innovative and cohesive across various digital media platforms. Staying updated on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices will be essential, as will your ability to recommend and implement improvements for process and productivity optimization. Additionally, you will be responsible for uploading video footage to a secure server, pitching creative ideas to internal clients, and capturing compelling product photography as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and implement paid media strategies across brand, business units and geographies in partnership with our media agency.
  • Serve as the point of integration across our various agencies.
  • Implement integrated and innovative communications across various digital media/platforms that align with the AMD brand and present compelling information and stories that weave BU portfolio together with AMD's broader story.
  • Recommend and implement improvements for process and productivity optimization.
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Responsible for uploading video footage to secure server.
  • Pitch ideas with creative team and internal clients for driving best solution to meet the request.
  • Take compelling product photography as needed.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in media agency experience with global accounts in a media strategy role.
  • Hands-on experience with planning and implementing a successful global digital media strategy.
  • Proven experience at meeting deadlines, adjusting priorities, and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Practical experience with marketing technology.
  • Mastery of video equipment and lighting setups.
  • Motion graphics skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in related discipline preferred.
