About the position

The Marketing Communications Manager for Customer Community at BILL is responsible for leading the Champions advocacy program, focusing on enhancing customer relationships and driving brand awareness through strategic marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to manage various marketing campaigns and advocate for customer needs, ensuring that their stories resonate across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-impact co-marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and deepen customer relationships.
  • Manage projects and advocacy activities from end to end, tracking cross-functional requests and fulfillment requests.
  • Guide the creation of content that supports every stage of the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to advocacy.
  • Oversee the creation, management, and performance tracking of customer case studies and testimonials.
  • Lead integration of customer stories into various marketing channels and campaigns to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Partner with the Customer Success team to identify and connect satisfied customers with prospects for the Sales Reference program.
  • Build and nurture a community of customer advocates through initiatives like case studies, testimonials, user groups, and customer advisory boards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer marketing experience, preferably with running customer reference programs or advocacy community programs.
  • Direct experience in B2B SaaS and/or fintech.
  • Experience with community management and advocacy programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with content production and editorial storytelling.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Workspace, Asana, Salesforce, Seismic, User Evidence, and Slack.
  • Passion for identifying and connecting with customers across diverse industries.
