The Marketing & Communications Manager plays a crucial role in the strategic marketing and communication efforts of the organization, particularly within the banking and financial services sector. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive market research aligned with the client’s strategic initiatives to recommend and implement effective marketing campaigns that ensure the profitability of various business lines. The manager will oversee the internal communications strategy, supporting key company initiatives and employee-focused campaigns, thereby fostering a cohesive and informed workplace environment. In collaboration with leadership, the Marketing & Communications Manager will craft messaging that continually supports and evaluates employee communication needs and opportunities. This role also involves analyzing, developing, and executing social media strategies across the most effective platforms to enhance the company’s online presence and engagement. The manager will work closely with key stakeholders to develop, maintain, and deliver internal and external engagement surveys, ensuring that feedback is utilized to improve communication strategies. The position requires the creation and implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy for both internal and external audiences. This includes distributing regular metrics reports to key internal stakeholders regarding employee engagement, online marketing effectiveness, and areas for communication improvement. The manager will also oversee the bi-annual marketing strategy, manage outside marketing and communications vendors, and ensure that all branding, marketing, and communication activities align with the company’s mission and values. Additionally, the Marketing & Communications Manager will direct leadership town halls, including the development of presentations for client executives and coordinating event logistics. The role involves maintaining advertising placement records, developing copy and design for advertisements, and coordinating the writing and posting of employee announcements on the intranet. The manager will also be responsible for writing and publishing internal communications through various distribution methods, designing and placing advertisements across multiple media channels, and creating press releases, press kits, newsletters, and other marketing materials. Staying informed about market trends and developments is essential, as the manager will identify needs for new marketing campaigns and make recommendations to leadership as necessary.
