About the position

The Marketing Communications Manager at Carlsmed is responsible for shaping and executing the marketing communications strategy to enhance brand awareness and support the promotion of the company's products in the medical device sector. This role requires a dynamic professional with a strong background in marketing communications, leadership skills, and industry knowledge to manage integrated marketing campaigns and communication initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communications plans to support product launches and ongoing promotions.
  • Lead the creation, execution, and analysis of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and oversee the development of brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality marketing materials, including digital assets and sales collateral.
  • Collaborate on visuals and materials for industry events, tradeshows, and conferences.
  • Develop patient-facing marketing materials to educate patients about the Aprevo platform.
  • Track performance of marketing campaigns and report on key performance indicators to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance of all marketing communications with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of marketing communications experience, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 4+ years in a marketing communications role within the medical device industry.
  • Experience in spine or surgical software is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% for marketing initiatives and events.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a focus on listening and program evaluation.
  • Proven ability to create compelling content across various marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
