About the position

The Marketing & Communications Manager at Community Attributes, Inc. is responsible for producing high-quality marketing and communications content that engages clients and enhances brand recognition. This role involves supporting business development efforts, managing marketing initiatives, and collaborating with firm leadership to implement the marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying client opportunities and responsive to team needs, contributing to proposal writing, stakeholder engagement, and report writing.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality communications and marketing content.
  • Support CAI's proposal and business development processes.
  • Work closely with firm leadership to support the marketing strategy.
  • Identify client opportunities and provide marketing solutions.
  • Write new marketing content and tailor existing text for proposals.
  • Coordinate the creation of proposals using InDesign and other tools.
  • Manage the firm's website and social media presence.
  • Create informative content, press releases, and articles.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement related to project work.
  • Copyedit reports and write executive summaries.

Requirements

  • Experience in consulting (public policy, economics) or a similar environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in web and email strategy and implementation.
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong technology skills including HTML coding; web and graphic design experience desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with video editing is a plus.
  • Social media experience is a plus.
