About the position

The Marketing Communications Manager at Reser's Fine Foods is responsible for developing and executing consumer communication strategies to drive brand growth across various channels. This role involves managing the company's online presence, including websites and social media, and supporting internal and external communications. The manager will also analyze data to refine marketing strategies and lead digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop consumer communication strategies and tactical plans for brand growth.
  • Manage the company's online presence, including corporate and brand websites, digital paid media, and social media platforms.
  • Support other departments with digital marketing initiatives, including recruiting and plant social media plans.
  • Handle internal and external corporate communications, such as newsletters and media contacts.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing Communications with agency communications and coordination.
  • Ensure agencies have accurate and up-to-date information regarding brand direction.
  • Write and deliver creative briefs to agency partners.
  • Analyze data and report on performance using analytics tools to provide insights for strategy refinement.
  • Stay updated on the latest tools, technologies, and social media trends to integrate into marketing efforts.
  • Support business continuity or crisis communications.
  • Lead the creation of content calendars for social media, consumer emails, and websites based on brand strategies and goals.
  • Execute and manage digital marketing campaigns, evaluating ROI and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (in Marketing or Communications preferred).
  • MBA is preferred.
  • 5-7 years in consumer-packaged goods marketing required.
  • Food experience strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years in consumer marketing communications required.
  • Highly skilled in written communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and initiatives while influencing cross-functional partners.
  • Drive for pursuing results and meeting goals with a high sense of urgency.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple agency partners across marketing disciplines.
  • Strong Google Analytics and Adwords performance insights and reporting.
  • In-depth social media management and best practices experience.
  • Website user experience optimization oversight and SEO experience.
