About the position

The Marketing Communications Manager at InvenSense will lead various marketing communications activities, focusing on strategy, planning, and execution of events, content marketing, and digital marketing initiatives for TDK's sensors product portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and practices, with an emphasis on full-funnel marketing to achieve annual marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality content for owned channels, including website, collateral, and sales narratives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of audience needs and product value propositions to produce impactful content.
  • Manage the process of updating website copy and materials, using metrics to identify impactful content.
  • Write copy for product messaging, ads, video scripts, emails, and more.
  • Ensure content meets audience needs and marketing objectives at each customer stage.
  • Repurpose content for various uses, including newsletters and sales enablement resources.
  • Coordinate input from product marketing and sales leads.
  • Manage projects using Asana, ensuring alignment to deadlines.
  • Plan and execute impactful industry events with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Establish workback schedules and manage event details with attention to detail.
  • Support digital and industry marketing tasks, including presentation development and editorial calendar management.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage contracts and deliverables with the director of marketing.
  • Track and report on marketing activities against objectives and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or MBA.
  • 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years in technology marketing manager roles.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Wrike) and Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Excel).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and CMS tools.
  • Experience in project management across marketing programs.
  • Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of business organizations and processes.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to team and business changes.
  • Strengths in self-managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to measure objectives toward business goals.
  • Proficiency in various marketing communications skills.
  • Experience with event planning and digital marketing, with strong examples and references.
  • Experience managing analytics dashboards (GA4) and preparing reports on key results.
  • Expertise in multiple forms of content writing and editing, with a strong portfolio.
