About the position

OMNI is looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing innovative content strategies that enhance our brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive both customer and donor acquisition and retention for OMNI and its co-brands. Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content across various formats including blog posts, social media updates, videos, infographics, and presentations.
  • Customize engagement strategies for different audience segments using data and customer insights to foster meaningful interactions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure all content aligns with OMNI's overall brand strategy and maintain a consistent voice.
  • Manage OMNI's websites by writing and updating web content, optimizing site structure with SEO best practices, and improving conversion rates.
  • Oversee email campaigns and e-newsletters from content creation to performance analysis, driving engagement and results.
  • Collaborate with staff, videographers, graphic designers, and consultants to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Assist in communications strategies focused on staff onboarding, recruitment, and retention to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor and analyze content performance across all platforms and adjust strategies based on data insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in marketing and/or communications, including website management and email marketing.
  • Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to enhance online visibility.
  • Proficiency in basic graphic design and/or video editing for creating engaging content.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite for efficient project management and communication.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of prioritizing and executing multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Squarespace, Google Grants, Constant Contact, Donor Perfect, Salesforce or other CRM systems.
