About the position

The Communications Specialist at Robert Half is responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies that align with the department's goals. This role involves creating and delivering compelling content across various channels, ensuring timely and relevant messaging, and measuring the impact of communication efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies, including key messaging, channels, and campaigns, to support the Customer Service Division PMO.
  • Create and deliver engaging written and digital content, such as emails, newsletters, intranet posts, videos, and presentations, tailored to our diverse audience.
  • Manage a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant communication delivery, maintaining consistency and alignment with our strategic plan.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our communications initiatives and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful communication that supports departmental goals.
  • Establish and maintain a library of survey templates to gather valuable feedback and insights.
  • Demonstrate expert-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Adobe, Canva, and other relevant communication tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Journalism, Marketing/Advertising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing written and digital content for employees, customers, stakeholders, and executive audiences.
  • Excellent oral, written, and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, persuasive, and engaging content.
  • Strong understanding of audience-based communication best practices.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience developing communication strategies for large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of customer service, billing, and field operations within the water and gas utility industry.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in WordPress.
