About the position

Do you have a passion for creating compelling content and driving results? We're seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. You'll play a key role in developing compelling content and driving engagement across various marketing channels while collaborating closely with marketing and sales to achieve our shared goals. Beyond content creation, you'll also become a trusted partner to the Director of Marketing, providing support with administrative tasks, managing, and distributing marketing assets, and ensuring smooth project execution. This position offers the opportunity and flexibility of 2-days work-from-home!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy: Create engaging graphics, capture and edit high-quality photos and videos, manage social media campaigns, analyze results to optimize your approach, and cultivate a thriving online community through responsive interactions.
  • Support the Director of Marketing with administrative tasks, project management, reports, budgets, and scheduling - keeping the marketing engine running smoothly.
  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for diverse marketing channels, utilizing strong storytelling, audience targeting, and A/B testing to optimize results.
  • Contribute to the creation of SEO-enriched insightful blog posts and articles that demonstrate thought leadership in our industry.
  • Work seamlessly with designers, videographers, publishers, and vendors to ensure brand consistency and messaging across all content.
  • Manage and distribute marketing materials through our brand asset system. Keep things organized and accessible.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching industry trends, best practices, and recommend improvements to our marketing strategy and tactics.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft clear and engaging messages in the English language required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, advertising, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, content management systems, and creative tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Monday.com is a plus.
  • Photography, videography and editing skills.
  • Can leverage Google Analytics to measure success.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a further advantage.
