About the position

The Marketing Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the brand awareness of Advanced Technology Services (ATS) through various marketing and communication strategies. This position involves leading events, managing public relations, and executing email marketing campaigns while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The specialist will also be responsible for developing press releases, monitoring social media, and staying updated on digital marketing trends to effectively promote ATS in a B2B context.

Responsibilities

  • Lead events, tradeshows, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  • Manage public relations planning, outreach, tracking, and reporting.
  • Build relationships with media, industry influencers, and bloggers to enhance brand awareness.
  • Review media outreach requests and develop press releases for company news and product launches.
  • Support social listening and identify action items for the marketing team.
  • Own email marketing initiatives, including copywriting and campaign management.
  • Support photography and video strategy execution with the Marketing Communications Manager.
  • Contribute to weekly sales bulletin updates and process invoices for owned efforts.
  • Research and stay current on digital marketing trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven marketing experience, preferably in a B2B corporate environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in event marketing, email marketing, public relations, and APA style copywriting.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Pardot and Salesforce (CRM).
  • Experience with Google Analytics and PR Newswire.
  • Skillset in copywriting and messaging for B2B digital marketing.
