About the position

At Crawford, the #1 electrical distributor across Texas and Louisiana, we are seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist who will play a pivotal role in driving and promoting our customer-centric strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing graphics for multi-channel campaigns, generating copy and content for e-commerce landing pages, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines to maintain a consistent presence across all platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to design, compose, and publish the internal newsletter on a bi-monthly schedule, write and edit content for the company's monthly “on hold” telephone messages, and aid in managing our social media presence and content creation. Additionally, you will actively participate in event planning and coordination, and manage requests for field branded items and branded inventory. Responsibilities

  • Design graphics for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Generate copy and content for e-commerce landing pages.
  • Learn and adhere to brand guidelines to support a consistent presence.
  • Collaborate to design, compose, and publish the internal newsletter on a bi-monthly schedule.
  • Write, edit, and submit content for the company's monthly 'on hold' telephone messages.

Requirements

  • College degree in marketing or communications; or 2-5 years in traditional and interactive marketing communication initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Some experience working with marketing design software including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Experience in electrical distribution preferred but not required.
