About the position

Join the largest anti-fraud professional association in the world, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), as a Membership Communications Specialist. In this position, you will play an essential role in growing membership and touting all the benefits available to our members. You will assist in the development and management of email programs and pay-per-click advertising campaigns. Not only will you be a part of a fun and experienced marketing team (including Content, Social Media, PR, Design, Product and Events), but you will also work with diverse teams across the company. A huge plus is you will learn how to use a sophisticated marketing automation platform, Marketo, and CMS, Sitecore. Responsibilities

  • Plays an integral role in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive membership growth and increase member engagement and retention.
  • Designs, develops and manages email programs and landing pages in Marketo.
  • Conducts A/B testing of email and landing pages to continuously improve marketing campaign performance.
  • Manages and assists with pay-per-click advertising campaigns under the guidance of the Membership Marketing Manager.
  • Crafts marketing ads and copy across various digital platforms, understanding target audiences for each campaign segment.
  • Manages automated membership email campaigns for trade shows with the purpose of converting leads into members.
  • Collects, reports on, and analyzes performance metrics, including pay-per-click and email metrics, membership statistics, and other KPIs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of marketing or membership development experience required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven skills in organizing work, communicating effectively, managing time effectively, and timely handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital marketing (email marketing, PPC advertising, etc.), preferred.
  • Copywriting and/or experience with marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo, a plus.
